TAG Heuer is busy trying to offer an Ayrton Senna Limited Edition in any price range. From the expensive TAG Heuer Carrera Heuer 01 Ayrton Senna Limited Edition to the more affordable TAG Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph Ayrton Senna Limited Edition. The most ‘simple’ version is this TAG Heuer Formula 1 Ayrton Senna Limited Edition. It is a regular limited edition with only hours, minutes, seconds and a date.

Less is more, because the ‘regular’ TAG Heuer Formula 1 is a great sports watch with some noticeable branding. This one is a bit less ‘in your face’ than the other two versions.

Ayrton Senna is considered by his peers and Formula One fans to be one of the greatest drivers the world has ever seen. He won three world championship titles, had 65 pole positions and scored 41 Grand Prix victories. Now, as a tribute to Senna’s legendary Monaco Grand Prix win, TAG Heuer introduces three new sporty watches in a limited edition.

This ‘basic’ TAG Heuer Formula 1 with a date, hours, minutes and seconds has the famous stylized red lacquer ‘S’ (the exclusive Senna symbol) on the dial and bezel. The bezel also has a minute track, giving the pieces a ‘racing feel’ and evoking the exceptional skill of Senna. Empty marketing talk, but a nice addition to an otherwise basic bezel.

To make it all come full circle, the watch comes with the iconic bracelet with S-shaped links. As adopted by Ayrton at the height of his achievements and the Don’t Crack Under Pressure campaign in 1991.
