This is the new TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph 42 mm, a redesigned model for 2023 and onwards. It is part of a bigger redesign of the Carrera collection, as we have already seen with the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon Glassbox. And there is already a 39-millimeter chronograph with this new design. It is all part of the celebration of 60 years of the Carrera model. We are not sure if all Carrera models will get a make-over but now there are 87 different Carrera watches, including the new ones. So maybe it’s time to clean the house a bit, throw out the boring models and revive the true Carrera’s.
The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph 42 mm might be a good step for the new appearance. This 42-millimeter stainless steel chronograph looks pretty Carrera. You can choose between a version with a sun brushed blue dial or a sun brushed black dial, both with red and orange accents. The dials match perfectly with the silvery striped baton hands and markers which are filled with green super-luminova.

Yes, it has the Carrera specs like the narrow sloping polished bezel, inwardly faceted lugs, flat top-style chronograph pushers at 2 and 4 o’clock and a big crown. The case back is transparent which give you an impression of the in-house Heuer 02 automatic chronograph. Is has a power reserve of 80 hours and displays the skeleton bridges topped with Côtes de Genève and an automotive wheel-inspired rotor in gold. The case has a water resistance of 100 meters / 330 feet.
Both TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph 42 mm models come with a matching leather strap with folding buckle. In the next few months to a year surely new models of the Carrera Chronograph will be launched. As said, there is a tourbillon already, and a 39 millimeter, but we expect at least more color schemes.
